Grand National Golf Course

Upon first seeing the land where Grand National now lies, renowned course designer Robert Trent Jones, Sr., declared it the "single greatest site for a golf complex that he had ever seen." Thirty-two of the 54-holes hug the shores of Saugahatchee Lake. Three courses are featured here: the Links Course, the Lake Course, and the Short Course. Grand National has been the site of Nike, LPGA, and NCAA golf tournaments. Homeowners at National Village enjoy the privilege of playing the Short Course free and also receive substantial discounts on fees for the Links and Lake courses.

Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail

Grand National is one of 11 golf complexes along Alabama’s Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Homeowners at National Village receive complementary play on the outstanding short course, all the range balls they can hit, and "RTJ Trail Cards" providing discounts for playing all the courses. The vision for this outstanding golf trail has succeeded in making Alabama a premier destination for golf.

World-class golf along the renowned Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is just one of the reasons Golf Digest named us the "#1 Golf City in America" and HGTV featured us in their "You Should Live Here" series. Here are some more accolades...
